On behalf of the Organizing Committee, we would like to warmly invite you to attend the 21st International Social Pharmacy Workshop to be held from 13–16 July 2020 at The University of Sydney, Australia.
As the premier gathering of academics and researchers in social and administrative pharmacy, these biennial workshops offer the opportunity for delegates to share their expertise and learn from other like-minded colleagues from across the globe. Indeed, ISPW is an international community of practice, with a strong culture of regular engagement to learn socially through the shared contribution of participants.
Over three and a half days ISPW 2020 will provide the opportunity for delegates to be inspired by workshops contributed to and led by our peers, learn from plenary speakers, and network and socialize with the international social pharmacy research community. ISPW also provides an ideal platform for research students and early career researchers to showcase their research at an international conference.
The theme for the 21st ISPW is “Sydney 2020 – A global vision for social pharmacy: Building capacity through integration, impact and influence”. We will offer an intellectually stimulating program to showcase the achievements of social pharmacy and its impact and influence on the pharmacy profession and the delivery of health care. Delegates will be afforded the opportunity to contribute to a future vision of social pharmacy over the course of the workshop.
In addition to formal activities, delegates will have the opportunity to experience the rich academic heritage of The University of Sydney, the natural beauty of our harbour-side city and the many diverse cultures of cosmopolitan Sydney. Sydney is an international city and multicultural melting pot. It is well known for its sandy beaches, beautiful harbour, multicultural dining and more. Sydney is surrounded by stunning National Parks and the rugged beauty of the Blue Mountains. It is the ideal gateway city to explore Australia.
